We are pleased to announce that Oceanica has received certification to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems—Requirements.  Oceanica has always prided itself on the provision of high quality environmental advice to our clients based on robust quality management.  While our focus and philosophy have not changed, our clients can now be confident that our quality management system (QMS) meets the stringent requirements of the well recognised ISO 9001 quality standard.

In brief, Oceanica’s comprehensive QMS has been developed over many years to identify and manage risks to the quality of services and products provided to our clients.  It incorporates a quality policy, quality objectives and quality management procedures that are applicable to all our business systems, including our project management system.  Procedures for quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of environmental data management and report production are a key focus of the QMS.  Oceanica’s compliance with its QMS is both internally and externally audited on a regular basis, and continual improvement of our business systems is a core element of the company’s vision.
